Still Waters Resort

"My husband, I, and two kids booked a room for 7 days. We left Christmas Eve. They don't allow you to check in til after 5pm and it was dark trying to find our room. When I went to check in at the front desk ( I used VRBO and VRBO wont let me leave a review. ) they didn't have my reservation and stated that my reservation was cancelled and was done through Expedia instead of VRBO. It took 45 min to get checked in due to that so I highly recommend not using VRBO or Air BNB for this place. We had a room on the first floor and the put put golf was by our back porch. During the holidays they had bounce houses for the kids and my boys enjoyed it. The restaurants are pricy so we left the property to get food. During our stay the weather warmed up to the 70s and our room was in the 80s and stayed hot. We asked for them to come look at the AC but it wasn't fixed so we had to sleep with the back door open to cool us down. We didn't have a dish washer and we had to go the store to buy a dish sponge to do dishes because one wasn't provided. It's a cute place and during the summer they have a lot to offer. Some things they should change would allowing check in before 5 like most places, accommodate those who are in rooms with no working AC, and provide basic cleaning supplies if they expect guests to clean their own rooms before leaving."

"We had an issue with our tv when we first arrived. They were quick to arrive to get it fixed within 10 minutes. It is a 20 minutes drive to town but they have several things close by like a convenience store, coffee shop, and a couple places to eat that were handy when you didn’t want to go far. The free shuttle service to and from Silver Dollar City is the handiest thing to avoid the parking or walking long distances to get inside. They bring you right up to the front gate which was so nice."

"We had such a wonderful stay that we booked our next trip on our way out. Fabulous food, drinks, amenities, pools, VIEWS, and so clean and comfortable. The shuttle to Silver Dollar City saves you money and a headache, and the staff was very kind and helpful. Can’t wait to experience the new indoor waterpark later this year!"
